Take control of your fieldbus
The fieldbus physical layer of FOUNDATION fieldbus H1 and PROFIBUS PA is a manageable asset with the Advanced Diagnostic Module (ADM). The ADM automates commissioning and documentation, monitors the fieldbus segment online, and identifies faults in realtime.
An embedded expert system learns and interprets the electric values and behavior of each segment. Plant maintenance receives early, easy-to-understand warnings. With ADM, fieldbus is now much easier to manage.
Remote access to avoid unnecessary trips to the field
The Diagnostic Manager software package allows live data access to the ADM from the control room or off-site location. You can now avoid unnecessary trips into the field.
Expert system accelerates working procedures
The Diagnostic Manager provides an expert system that learns and interprets physical layer data and provides detailed fault analysis. Additional wizards and functions simplify handling the physical layer:
- commissioning wizard
- diagnostic display
- segment monitoring views with NAMUR color indication according to NE 107
- data export function for analysis of long-term trends
